The emotional body language can be defined as an emotion expressed by the whole body, accompanied by coordinated movements and often by significant actions. Over the past decade, good progresses have been made in respect to the discovery and understanding of the neuro-anatomical and functional bases that underlie human emotions. However, it is noteworthy that our current knowledge concerning human emotions is almost entirely based on studies focused on the perception of facial expressions.
